# Where the yield comes from?

### Yield Generation

Deposited stablecoins are utilized exclusively within [Morpho](https://app.morpho.org/ethereum/earn) lending markets, backed by high-quality collateral (BTC and Ethereum derivatives).

Morpho receipt tokens representing lending positions are restaked into [EigenLayer](https://app.eigenlayer.xyz/), securing AVSs and accumulating additional rewards from EigenLayer and AVS , including Eigen and AVS-specific points as well as native rewards from AVSs.

### Yield and Reward Distribution

StablEigen accrues:

* Morpho lending yield
* $morpho rewards
* EigenLayer AVS native rewards
* EigenLayer points and AVS-specific incentives

These yields and rewards are passed through directly to steUSD (staked seUSD).
